Welcome to the home of Brighton Music for Kids.

We are a Brighton and Hove based incorporated voluntary organisation of active musicians (players and teachers) committed to sharing music and the fun and challenges of music making with kids of all ages and abilities.

Our music comes from many cultures, traditions and genres and our steering committee is of a very mixed age group.

We do individual classes in classical and contemporary piano/keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, saxophone and singing. We do group workshops and mentor bands in working as a group, composition and song-writing. We have a choir too, aged 4-16yrs, see Brighton Peace Choir for details of this. We do lots of performing at gigs, community events, concerts and festivals and train young adults in stage rigging and sound engineering.
